NCOA NCARRB Submission regarding 2025/26 NCA Pay Award

2/10/2025

Dear Members,

Following the publication of the Agency’s written evidence to the  NCA Remuneration Review Body (NCARRB) for the 2025/26 pay award, the NCOA are now able to share our written evidence with members.

Whilst the data and narrative provided by the Agency clearly articulates the need for significant structural change within the NCA differentiated pay mechanisms, it does not offer any solutions. In contrast, the NCOA evidence makes a set of recommendations which if adopted would not only tackle current unfairness in NCA pay - but also ensure that our members are paid in line with their main comparator groups in Policing.

With no firm update on NCA pay reform, it seems that the NCA is merely hoping for change rather than implementing change - something which was not lost in the feedback provided by officers on their Executive Leadership, as part of the 2024 People Survey.

On behalf of its members, the NCOA will be providing oral evidence to the NCARRB on the 11th March 2025. The NCOA submission can be found here: NCOA 11th Submission to the NCARRB
