The NCARRB have finally published their recommendations which reflect cogent arguments put forward by the NCOA for much needed parity with Police pay. Although the report does not deliver as much as we had hoped, we are nevertheless pleased that there has been no resistance from the Home Office and that all recommendations will be applied in full. As a consequence these terms are reflected in pay awards for ‘non-powers’ officers following intense negotiations with the Agency over the past two weeks.
Once we have had time to consider the document in greater detail we will report back to members with our assessment and observations.
