The NCOA are pleased to note the recent announcement in the Global as follows:
The NCA remains committed to establishing an accredited, flexible learning and development framework that equips officers with the skills to confidently perform their role. This will include ongoing opportunities for existing staff to undertake IOTP, 16 of whom will join the programme in April, and a further 16 on each of the following three programmes.
It should be noted that the provision of these spaces for existing staff, some of whom have been waiting many months for news, is due in no small measure to the persistent lobbying of your NCOA representatives. This has ensured that existing staff have not been side-lined in the pursuit of fulfilling the new trainee programme.
